Policies

By booking a service with Loren Goldman MUA, you agree to the following:

BOOKINGS:

To secure an appointment, a deposit is due at time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, dates and times will only be reserved when deposit is received.

BOOKING TIMES:

Each appointment requires a certain length of time to be finished, and is not to exceed the time limit- when reserving your date, please keep this in mind for your specific look, and book accordingly (artist will discuss time parameters with client upon booking). For groups, all appointments must be at the same location and at consecutive times.

** A $15 fee will be added to appointments starting before 8 AM.

LATE FEES:

A late fee of $10 will be charged for every 15 minutes that a client is late for a scheduled time, or if the artist exceeds allotted time due to client’s tardiness. 30+ minutes is considered a no-show, and will not be accommodated.

CANCELLATIONS:

Cancellations are preferred at least 48 hours prior to the booked date. In the event the client cancels, client will forfeit the deposit made to the artist. If makeup artist cancels at any time, or is unable to perform duties due to uncontrollable/unforeseen circumstances, 100% of the deposit paid will be refunded to the client. If the client fails to show to any appointment without contacting the artist, the client will also forfeit their deposit.

SERVICE LOCATION & REQUIREMENTS:

Location of appointment is at the discretion of the client. If client requests artist to travel to a residence, hotel, etc., please ensure there is a proper work set up. A table/desk will need to be available, as well as working electrical outlets, ample lighting (natural light or lamps, etc.), and a chair. Artist travel will inquire a $0.50 charge per mile. If venue location exceed 3 hours from artist’s location, a hotel room is required the night prior to appointment.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEE:

Makeup application will be completed to client’s satisfaction, but is not to exceed allotted time booked.

PAYMENT:

The final balance for services is due on the day of application as one complete payment. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance is the person(s) who booked said appointment. Accepted forms of payment are Venmo and credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express). Personal checks and cash will not be accepted.

USE OF IMAGE:

lorengoldmanmua.com and Loren Goldman may use images captured of client’s (such as before and after photos) on social media, business website, and portfolio. Client(s) agree to release any and all claims regarding use of his/her images for such purposes.
